The Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) provides assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for individuals of all ages with communication and swallowing disorders across outpatient and inpatient settings.


  • Evaluate patients promptly, develop and update treatment plans, and collaborate with healthcare providers.
  • Address speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing functions using evidence-based practices.
  • Instruct and motivate patients and families, supervise therapy aides, and document progress accurately.
  • Participate in community education and hospital meetings.
