Job Description
We are seeking a part-time Speech-Language Pathologist to provide evaluation, treatment, and education for residents with communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders in a skilled nursing setting.
- Evaluate, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for residents.
- Conduct bedside swallowing assessments and recommend dietary textures.
- Deliver therapy, document progress, and modify treatment as needed.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated care.
- Educate residents, families, and staff on communication and swallowing strategies.
- Supervise assistants and students, participate in care planning, and maintain compliance with regulations.
Requirements include a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, valid licensure in Oregon, and preferred CCC-SLP certification. Previous experience in geriatrics or skilled nursing is a plus.
