Job Description
This position provides therapy services as part of a multidisciplinary team, primarily serving adult and geriatric patients.
Essential skills include effective communication with physicians, patients, and team members, thorough documentation, and ongoing professional development. Responsibilities involve assessing patients, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, and monitoring progress to meet specific goals. Competencies include evaluating developmental and aging factors for pediatric and geriatric patients to tailor therapy accordingly. Participation in quality improvement activities and multidisciplinary planning is required.
Qualifications include a graduate of an accredited SLP program, a current CA license, BLS certification, and hospital experience preferred; new graduates are welcome.
The role is part-time/contract, with pay ranging from $40-$55/hour, based in Manteca, CA, requiring in-person work and reliable commute or relocation plans.
