Job Description

Seeking a part-time Speech-Language Pathologist to evaluate, treat, and educate residents with communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders in a skilled nursing setting.

  • Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide direct therapy services.
  • Perform bedside swallowing evaluations and recommend dietary textures.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated care and optimal outcomes.
  • Document evaluations, progress, and discharge summaries according to policies and regulations.
  • Educate residents, families, and staff on communication and swallowing strategies.
  • Supervise assistants and students as assigned.

    • Requirements include a Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology, valid licensure in Oregon, and preferred CCC-SLP certification. Prior experience in geriatrics or skilled nursing is a plus.
