Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to provide evaluation, treatment, and education for residents with communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders in a skilled nursing setting.
Evaluate, diagnose, and develop personalized treatment plans for speech, language, cognitive, voice, and swallowing issues.Conduct bedside swallowing assessments and recommend dietary textures.Deliver therapy services, document progress, and adjust treatments as needed.Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated care.Educate residents, families, and staff on communication and swallowing strategies.Maintain compliance with regulations and supervise assistants and students.Promote a positive, supportive environment aligned with the facility’s mission.Requirements include a Master’s degree, valid licensure, preferred CCC-SLP certification, and experience in geriatrics or skilled nursing.
