Job Description
This exempt position offers a starting salary of $80,089, commensurate with experience.
Position Summary: Responsible for managing the daily operations of the Speech/Language Pathology Department and related community programs.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Address communication needs of patients with speech, language, cognitive, or hearing disorders.
- Assess swallowing function for dysphagia patients.
- Provide direct patient care, evaluations, documentation, and supervise rehabilitation staff.
- Participate in performance improvement initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Speech and Language Pathology.
- American Speech and Language Certification and Oklahoma State Licensure.
- Experience in neurorehabilitation, psychiatric settings, and supervising direct care staff.
- Preferred experience with traumatic brain injuries and dysphagia.
- Knowledge of neurogenic communication disorders, rehabilitation, and behavior management.
Physical Requirements: Ability to read, write, sit, stand, walk long distances, and lift at least 65 lbs.
