Speech Therapist ($5,000 Sign-On Bonus)

Job Description

This exempt position offers a starting salary of $80,089, commensurate with experience.

Position Summary: Responsible for managing the daily operations of the Speech/Language Pathology Department and related community programs.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Address communication needs of patients with speech, language, cognitive, or hearing disorders.
• Assess swallowing function for dysphagia patients.
• Provide direct patient care, evaluations, documentation, and supervise rehabilitation staff.
• Participate in performance improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Master’s Degree in Speech and Language Pathology.
• American Speech and Language Certification and Oklahoma State Licensure.
• Experience in neurorehabilitation, psychiatric settings, and supervising direct care staff.
• Preferred experience with traumatic brain injuries and dysphagia.
• Knowledge of neurogenic communication disorders, rehabilitation, and behavior management.

Physical Requirements: Ability to read, write, sit, stand, walk long distances, and lift at least 65 lbs.
