Job Description
This is an exempt position with a starting salary of $80,089, based on experience.
Position Summary: Responsible for the daily operations of the Speech/Language Pathology Department and related community programs.
Primary Responsibilities:
– Address communication needs of patients with speech, language, cognitive, or hearing disorders.
– Assess swallowing function for dysphagia patients.
– Provide direct patient care, evaluations, documentation, and supervise rehabilitation staff.
– Contribute to performance improvement efforts.
Qualifications include a Master’s in Speech and Language Pathology, certification, state licensure, and relevant experience in neurorehabilitation, preferably with TBI and dysphagia expertise. Knowledge of neurogenic disorders and behavioral management is preferred.
Physical requirements involve reading, standing, walking, and lifting at least 65 lbs.
