Job Description
The Speech Therapist conducts assessments and develops individualized therapy plans to improve communication and swallowing skills.
Performs diagnostic assessments, implements, and supervises therapy programs, and educates patients and families. Coordinates with the team to ensure seamless care, documents progress, and adheres to ethical standards. Provides guidance to staff and family, participates in care conferences, and maintains compliance with policies. Requires strong communication, organizational skills, and professional development. Qualifications include a Master’s Degree in Speech Pathology, state licensure, and certification, with preferred experience in home health.
