Job Description

The Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) is responsible for planning, organizing, and directing speech therapy services to ensure high-quality resident care.

  • Conduct evaluations and treatments for residents with speech, language, cognitive, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders, following physician orders.
  • Perform resident screenings within specified timeframes and participate in facility meetings, care planning, and staff education.
  • Develop programs tailored to residents’ needs, help meet certification standards, and adhere to infection control and residents’ rights guidelines.
  • Manage caseload scheduling, monitor productivity, and communicate staffing needs.
  • Present professionally, collaborate with the healthcare team, and perform additional duties as assigned.

  • Qualifications: Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, state licensure, ASHA certification, SNF experience preferred, and strong communication skills.

    Compensation & Benefits: $50-$60/hr, 1-16 hours/week, with benefits including an employee assistance program, flexible schedule, and retirement plan.

    Work Location: In person.
