Job Description
The Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) is responsible for planning, organizing, and directing speech therapy services to ensure high-quality resident care.
Conduct evaluations and treatment for residents with speech, language, cognitive communication, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders, based on physician orders. Perform resident screenings upon admission and when indicated by changes or referrals. Participate in facility meetings, staff training, and care planning to develop resident-centered programs. Assist in meeting regulatory standards and follow infection control and residents’ rights guidelines. Manage caseload scheduling, staff education, and documentation. Maintain professional conduct and communication at all times. Qualifications: Master’s degree, state licensure, Asha certification, SNF experience preferred, and strong communication skills.
Pay & Benefits: $50-$60/hr, flexible hours (1-16/week), employee assistance, retirement plan, and in-person work.
