Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Speech Therapist to join our healthcare team at a long-term care facility.
Provide expert speech and language therapy services to residents, focusing on communication and swallowing improvement. Conduct assessments, develop personalized treatment plans, and deliver evidence-based therapy sessions. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care and document progress accurately. Educate residents and families on communication strategies and safety measures. Participate in ongoing training for diverse populations, including pediatrics when applicable. Qualifications: Degree in Speech-Language Pathology and valid licensure. Experience with pediatric populations or in school settings is a plus. Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology. Excellent communication and motivational skills.
