Job Description
The Speech Therapist provides diagnostic and therapeutic services for individuals with speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders.
Evaluates patients through history review, testing, and diagnosis of communication disorders. Develops and implements personalized treatment plans, conducts therapy, and offers counseling to patients and families. Collaborates with healthcare professionals, educators, and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care and integrate therapy strategies. Maintains accurate documentation, reviews progress, and participates in research and staff training. Supports quality improvement initiatives and community education. Qualifications: Valid Texas license as a Speech-Language Pathologist, BLS certification, strong assessment, communication, and teamwork skills, with a focus on patient safety and ethical standards.
