Spine Surgeon Independent 1099

Job Description

Seeking an orthopedic spine surgeon as a 1099 independent contractor for a part-time role, typically involving a 4-hour weekly or biweekly shift.

Responsibilities include managing medically complex patients, supporting return-to-work and functional recovery, and collaborating with medical and therapy teams to provide both surgical and non-surgical care for work-related injuries. Active case management and communication with employers are also essential.

Qualifications include experience with work-related injuries, licensure, MD or DO graduation from an accredited program, unrestricted DEA license, and board certification or eligibility in Orthopedic Spine Surgery. Candidates must have malpractice insurance for on-site coverage.
