We are seeking an orthopedic spine surgeon as a 1099 independent contractor to provide on-site care at our location. This flexible role involves treating patients during a 4-hour shift weekly or biweekly, complementing your current practice.
Responsibilities include managing medically complex patients, facilitating return to work, and collaborating with medical and therapy providers. You’ll offer both non-surgical and surgical orthopedic and neuromusculoskeletal services, communicate with employers, and actively participate in case management, making a significant impact on patient recovery.
Qualifications:
- Experience with work-related injuries preferred
- State licensure and unrestricted DEA license
- MD or DO degree from an accredited program
- Board Certification or Eligibility in Orthopedic Spine Surgery
- Medical Malpractice Insurance coverage
