We are seeking an orthopedic spine surgeon as a 1099 independent contractor to provide on-site care at our location. This flexible role involves treating patients for approximately 4 hours weekly or biweekly, complementing your current practice.
Responsibilities include managing complex patients, facilitating return to work, and collaborating with medical and therapy teams for both surgical and non-surgical treatments related to orthopedic and neuromusculoskeletal injuries. You will also communicate with employers and participate in case management.
Qualifications include experience with work-related injuries, relevant licensure, MD or DO degree from an accredited program, unrestricted DEA license, board certification or eligibility in orthopedic spine surgery, and malpractice insurance. Compensation is based on a revenue share model.
