Spine Surgeon Independent Contractor

Job Description

Seeking an orthopedic spine surgeon as a 1099 independent contractor to provide on-site care in a healthcare setting. This flexible role involves treating patients during a 4-hour weekly or biweekly shift, complementing your current practice.

Responsibilities include managing medically complex patients, expediting return to work, and collaborating with medical and therapy teams to deliver non-surgical and surgical orthopedic and neuromusculoskeletal care. You will also communicate with employers and participate in case management.

Qualifications:

• Experience treating work-related injuries preferred
• State licensure, MD or DO degree, and unrestricted DEA license
• Board certification or eligibility in Orthopedic Spine Surgery
• Medical malpractice insurance coverage
