Spine Surgeon Independent Contractor

Job Description

Seeking an orthopedic spine surgeon as a 1099 independent contractor to provide on-site care in a flexible, part-time role. This position involves treating patients for approximately 4 hours weekly or biweekly, complementing your current practice.

Responsibilities include managing medically complex cases, facilitating return to work, and collaborating with medical and therapy teams to deliver both surgical and non-surgical orthopedic care for work-related injuries. You will also communicate with employers and participate in case management.

Qualifications include experience with work-related injuries, licensure in your state, MD or DO degree from an accredited institution, unrestricted DEA license, board certification or eligibility in Orthopedic Spine Surgery, and malpractice insurance coverage.
