Job Description

The Substance Abuse Counselor (LCAS, LCAS-A, CCS) provides confidential addiction counseling, education, and support to individuals, families, and the community to promote healthy lifestyles and choices.

  • Conducts assessments, assists with treatment planning, and supports clients in meeting recovery goals.
  • Provides individual, family, and group counseling on addiction causes, effects, and treatment options.
  • Educates high-risk populations through workshops and community programs, and collaborates with community resources.
  • Maintains accurate records, ensures compliance with confidentiality laws, and participates in quality improvement efforts.
  • Works closely with other departments and completes required documentation, including treatment plans and assessments.
  • This full-time role requires relevant licensure/certification, with a preference for 1 year of SUD experience, and offers benefits such as health insurance, 401(k), and paid time off.
