Job Description
The Substance Abuse Counselor (LCAS, LCAS-A, CCS) provides confidential addiction counseling, education, and support to individuals, families, and the community to promote healthy lifestyles and choices.
Conducts assessments, assists with treatment planning, and supports clients in meeting recovery goals.
Provides individual, family, and group counseling on addiction causes, effects, and treatment options.
Educates high-risk populations through workshops and community programs, and collaborates with community resources.
Maintains accurate records, ensures compliance with confidentiality laws, and participates in quality improvement efforts.
Works closely with other departments and completes required documentation, including treatment plans and assessments.
This full-time role requires relevant licensure/certification, with a preference for 1 year of SUD experience, and offers benefits such as health insurance, 401(k), and paid time off.
