Job Description
The Registered Nurse Supervisor oversees clinical staff (RN, LPN, MA, tech, CCA) and participates in clerical staff evaluations.
They provide shift leadership, ensure safe staffing, operational efficiency, and adherence to evidence-based practices.
The role involves coordinating schedules, resolving coverage issues, acting as a clinical escalation point, and driving staff development through coaching and performance management.
Responsibilities include maintaining regulatory compliance, patient safety, quality standards, leading incident investigations, risk mitigation, and managing operational challenges in leadership’s absence.
Qualifications include a valid Florida RN licensure, ≥4 years of ambulatory or hospital RN experience (including LPN or MA may count), prior supervisory experience preferred, and BLS certification within one month. A relocation option is available.
