Job Description
The Registered Nurse Supervisor will oversee clinical staff (RN, LPN, MA, tech, CCA) and participate in clerical staff evaluations in collaboration with their supervisor.
They will provide shift leadership, ensure safe staffing, operational efficiency, and adherence to evidence-based practices.
The role involves coordinating schedules, responding to callouts, acting as a clinical escalation point for complex cases, and driving staff development through coaching and mentoring.
Responsibilities include maintaining regulatory compliance, patient safety, leading incident investigations, risk mitigation, quality improvements, and managing operational challenges in leadership’s absence.
Qualifications include a Florida RN license, 4+ years of ambulatory or hospital RN experience (including LPN or MA), supervisory experience preferred, and Basic Life Support certification within the first month. Relocation assistance is available.
Additional requirements involve multitasking, problem-solving, teamwork, and, if applicable, licensure for motor vehicle operation.
