Job Description

The Licensed Masters Social Worker (LMSW) provides professional therapy, crisis intervention, and community resource coordination to patients and families.

They conduct culturally sensitive assessments, develop treatment plans, and deliver therapy within an interdisciplinary team, reporting to the Department Head of Mental Health.

Responsibilities include documentation, patient education, supporting school system collaborations, and ensuring compliance with regulations and standards.

Key duties involve developing care plans, participating in team meetings, maintaining clinical records, and contributing to quality improvement activities.

Essential skills include knowledge of social work principles, crisis intervention, client advocacy, and community resource utilization.

Qualifications require a Master’s in social work, Maryland LMSW licensure, and 3+ years healthcare experience.
