Job Description

Job Opportunity: RN – Surgical ICU Stepdown in Peoria, Illinois, for a 13-week temporary contract.

  • Coordinates total nursing care for adult-geriatric patients in a Surgical ICU Stepdown setting.

  • Participates in patient and family teaching to promote understanding and recovery.

  • Provides leadership by collaborating with nursing staff and interdisciplinary team members.

  • Maintains professional nursing standards in a clinical environment.

  • Requires 2+ years of relevant RN experience and Illinois licensure, current BLS certification, and reliable transportation.

  • Preferred travel healthcare experience and additional certifications based on specialty.

  • Work schedule: 36 hours/week with 12-hour shifts, starting September 8, 2025.
