Urgent Care Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) / Physician Assistant (PA)

Job Description

Seeking a licensed Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for a full-time, on-site urgent care role in North Carolina.

Providers work independently as the sole clinician, managing acute and episodic patient care with clinical protocols, support staff, and access to leadership.

Responsibilities include assessing, diagnosing, treating, performing urgent procedures, ordering tests, prescribing medications, and patient education.

Schedule: 3 shifts/week, 12 hours each, rotating weekends, no on-call, with flexible self-scheduling and optional overtime.

Compensation ranges from $55–$70/hour ($103K–$131K annually), plus incentives, bonuses, and comprehensive benefits such as health insurance, 401(k), PTO, CME allowance, and more.

Qualifications include NC licensure, BLS/ACLS, with 1+ years urgent care or primary care preferred.
