Urgent Care Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) / Physician Assistant (PA)

Job Description

Seeking a licensed Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for a full-time, on-site urgent care role in North Carolina.

Providers work independently as the sole clinician, managing acute and episodic patient care with established protocols and support staff. Responsibilities include diagnosing, treating, performing urgent procedures, ordering tests, prescribing medications, and patient education.

The environment supports 3–4 patients per hour with access to diagnostics, EMR, and clinical leadership. Schedule involves three 12-hour shifts weekly, rotating weekends, with no on-call duties, and flexible scheduling options.
