Urgent Care Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) / Physician Assistant (PA)

Job Description

Seeking a licensed Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for a full-time, on-site urgent care role in North Carolina.

Providers work independently as the sole clinical provider, managing acute and episodic care with established protocols, support staff, and access to leadership.

Responsibilities include assessing, diagnosing, treating patients, performing procedures like laceration repair and splinting, ordering tests, prescribing medications, and documenting in EMR.

Expected patient volume is 3–4 per hour, with fully equipped clinics supporting efficient care. Schedule is 3 shifts/week, rotating weekends, with no on-call duties; shifts are scheduled via a self-scheduling system.

Compensation ranges from $55–$70/hour, with annual earnings around $103K–$131K plus incentives. Benefits include health insurance, 401(k), PTO, CME allowance, malpractice coverage, and more.
