Urgent Care Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) / Physician Assistant (PA)

Job Description

Seeking a licensed Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join a full-time, on-site urgent care team in North Carolina.

Providers operate independently as the sole clinical provider, managing acute and episodic patient care with established protocols and support staff.

Responsibilities include assessing, diagnosing, treating patients, performing urgent care procedures, ordering/testing labs, prescribing medications, and patient education.

The practice handles 3–4 patients/hour with fully equipped clinics, electronic medical records, and clinical protocols.

Schedule: 3 shifts/week (12 hours), rotating weekends, no on-call, with flexible self-scheduling and opportunities for overtime at higher pay.

Compensation: $55–$70/hour ($103K–$131K/year), with incentives, signing/relocation bonuses, and benefits such as insurance, 401(k), PTO, CME allowance, and more.

Qualifications include NC licensure, BLS/ACLS, and preferred urgent care experience. Opportunities for career growth and leadership are available within the expanding network.
