Job Description
This full-time MD/DO urgent care physician role offers a rotating 3/4 schedule with a competitive hourly rate of $115–$140/hour and comprehensive benefits, including insurance, 401(k), malpractice coverage, and CME allowance.
Provide direct patient care in a high-volume, fast-paced clinic environment, managing acute conditions independently. Perform procedures such as laceration repairs, fracture management, wound care, and DOT physicals, with support from on-site diagnostics and established protocols. Evaluate, diagnose, treat patients, prescribe medications, and educate on follow-up and preventive care while maintaining thorough documentation. Work in fully equipped clinics with an average of 3–4 patients per hour, supporting quality outcomes and patient satisfaction. Schedule includes rotating weekends, with no on-call duties; flexible shifts based on clinic hours. Qualifications include Alabama MD/DO licensure, board certification or eligibility, DEA registration, and BLS/ACLS certifications; urgent care or emergency medicine experience preferred.
