Urgent Care Physician (MD/DO)

Job Description

This full-time physician role offers a rotating 3/4 schedule with a competitive hourly rate of $115–$140/hour and comprehensive benefits, including insurance, 401(k), malpractice coverage, and professional development support.

You will provide direct patient care in a high-volume urgent care setting, managing acute conditions independently, performing procedures such as laceration repair and fracture management, and ordering diagnostics.

Ideal candidates are licensed MD/DO in Alabama, board certified or eligible, with active DEA, BLS, and ACLS certifications, and preferably with urgent care or emergency medicine experience. The role involves evaluating 3–4 patients per hour, documenting thoroughly, and collaborating with staff to ensure quality care. The schedule includes rotating weekends and no on-call duties.
