Job Description
We are seeking a Licensed/Board Certified Nurse Practitioner with wound care expertise to provide in-home patient care in a multi-specialty practice.
- Provide in-person evaluation and management for patients with acute and chronic wounds in home, assisted living, or skilled nursing facilities.
- Perform necessary wound debridement and procedures within CMS guidelines to promote healing.
- Follow infection prevention protocols and handle contaminated equipment appropriately.
- Document services in EMR supporting proper billing according to CMS guidelines.
- Use critical thinking to assess, diagnose, and prescribe treatments and medications.
Requirements include a Master’s Degree, Montana RN license, Nurse Practitioner certification, WOCN certification or eligible within 90 days, and at least 3 years of wound care experience. A valid driver’s license and transportation are also necessary.
