Job Description

This full-time mental health counselor provides outpatient services to Tribal Members and the community, including assessments, diagnosis, individual, family, and group counseling, and community training.

  • Collaborates with tribal programs and regional agencies to coordinate treatment and support services.
  • Facilitates recovery groups on topics like domestic violence, grief, and problem gambling.
  • Maintains client records per privacy regulations and utilizes assessment tools for suicidal and homicidal ideation.
  • Requires a Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, or related field, and licensure with at least 2 years of experience.
  • Position involves office work, local travel, occasional outside hours, and may require on-call status.
