Job Description
This full-time mental health counselor provides outpatient services to Tribal Members and the community, including assessments, diagnosis, individual, family, and group counseling, and community training.
Collaborates with tribal programs and regional agencies to coordinate treatment and support services. Facilitates recovery groups on topics like domestic violence, grief, and problem gambling. Maintains client records per privacy regulations and utilizes assessment tools for suicidal and homicidal ideation. Requires a Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, or related field, and licensure with at least 2 years of experience. Position involves office work, local travel, occasional outside hours, and may require on-call status.
