We are seeking an experienced Band 6 Nurse in Charge for Ophthalmology across North Wales, South Wales, and Midlands, starting ASAP until March with potential extension.
Lead and coordinate insourced ophthalmic nursing services in outpatient, ward, diagnostic, and theatre settings. Provide clinical leadership, ensure high standards of patient care, and support multidisciplinary teams. Require strong ophthalmology expertise, leadership skills, and autonomous working ability. Perform ophthalmic assessments, assist with procedures, administer medications, and support pre/post-operative care. Ensure patient safety, infection control, and quality standards are maintained.
