The Therapist is responsible for assessing, developing, and implementing individualized treatment plans for residents in a residential setting. Key duties include conducting intakes, providing individual, group, and family therapy, coordinating services with community resources, leading treatment team meetings, and ensuring client safety and progress. The role involves case management, crisis intervention, discharge planning, and mentoring staff.
Requirements include a Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related field, with at least 2 years of experience working with children and families, and active licensure (preferably LPCC or similar). Preferred qualifications include 3+ years of experience and knowledge of mental health systems.
