Job Description
The Family Medicine Physician role involves providing comprehensive primary care across all ages in an outpatient setting, emphasizing patient-centered, evidence-based practices in line with FQHC standards and regulations.
Perform assessments, diagnoses, treatments, and follow-ups for acute and chronic conditions, including preventive care and women’s health.
Manage chronic diseases, order and interpret diagnostic tests, prescribe medications, and document encounters accurately in EMR.
Coordinate care with specialists, participate in quality improvement, supervise staff, and support compliance with healthcare standards.
Qualifications include MD/DO from an accredited school, residency completion, board eligibility/certification, active licensure, and experience in outpatient or underserved settings preferred.
Requires strong clinical judgment, communication skills, cultural competence, EMR proficiency, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
