Job Description
The Family Practice with Obstetrics (FPOB) Physician provides comprehensive primary care for patients of all ages, with a focus on prenatal, perinatal, and postpartum services.
Deliver full-spectrum family medicine, including wellness exams, chronic disease management, urgent care, and minor procedures.
Perform obstetric care such as prenatal visits, labor management, vaginal deliveries, and postpartum follow-up, including newborn and pediatric care.
Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, participate in quality improvement, and engage in patient education on health and pregnancy-related topics.
Maintain accurate documentation in the EHR, contribute to community outreach, and participate in hospital call rotations for labor and deliveries, including after-hours and weekends.
Qualifications include an MD or DO degree, completion of an accredited Family Medicine residency, with additional obstetric training or competency preferred. Candidates must hold a current, unrestricted medical license, be board certified or eligible in Family Medicine, and have certifications in BLS, ACLS, NRP, and possibly ALSO.
