Job Description
The Family Preservation Therapist provides brief, intensive in-home therapeutic services to families referred by the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services.
Responsibilities include
intake assessment,
treatment planning and implementation, and
discharge and aftercare planning. The role involves collaborating with DHHS and Skillbuilder to help families develop healthier habits and relationships.
Starting pay ranges from
$40-$60/hour, with
drive time reimbursement of $30/hour,
mileage reimbursement, and
bonus opportunities up to $5,000 in 9 months. Benefits include tuition reimbursement, insurance options, PTO, paid holidays, and employee assistance.
Requirements:
LMHP, PLMHP, or Master’s intern within one semester of graduation,
reliable personal vehicle and cell phone, and
access to computer and internet. Timely communication is essential.
