Job Description
We are seeking a compassionate Licensed Student Counselor to join our mental health team, providing counseling for students on academic and personal issues.
Conduct initial assessments, diagnosis, and treatment planning, including walk-in sessions.
Offer individual, couples, and group therapy, and provide referrals and resources.
Supervise clinicians seeking licensure (if qualified) and deliver after-hours/on-call support.
Complete documentation, participate in clinical consultations and staff meetings.
Engage in prevention, outreach, psychoeducation, and campus community consultation, sometimes after hours.
Pursue ongoing professional development and licensure requirements.
Qualifications include a Master’s degree and Nebraska mental health license.
Salary ranges from $49,462 to $61,827 annually, with benefits like health/dental insurance, paid time off, and tuition reimbursement.
