We are seeking an experienced, confident dentist for a Long-Term Locum role focused on urgent care in Southampton. This position involves working in a busy NHS urgent care centre, providing emergency and stabilisation services rather than routine treatments.
Typical day sees 35–45 patients referred via NHS 111, walk-ins, and stabilisation cases. Role requires quick decision-making and efficiency without compromising care. Performance is incentivised through UDA targets with overachievement pay, and no penalties for underperformance. Essential criteria include GDC registration, NHS performer number, and relevant experience. Strong communication and ability to work in a fast-paced environment are vital. Flexible shifts available, with competitive day rates and negotiable travel expenses. The practice is a dedicated NHS urgent care centre with excellent transport links.
