We are seeking an experienced, confident dentist to join a busy NHS urgent care centre in Woolston, Southampton, focusing on emergency and stabilisation services.
The role involves managing high patient volumes, typically seeing 35–45 patients daily, including NHS 111 referrals, walk-ins, and urgent cases. This position emphasizes relieving pain, managing urgent conditions, and stabilising patients rather than providing comprehensive treatments. The ideal candidate is GDC registered with an NHS performer number, with general dentistry experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Flexible shifts are available on weekdays and weekends, with competitive day rates and negotiable travel expenses. The practice is an NHS urgent care centre with supportive team and good transport links in Southampton.
