Job Description

We are seeking experienced, confident dentists for a Long-Term Locum role at a busy NHS urgent care centre in Woolston, Southampton.

  • This position focuses on emergency and stabilisation services, handling pain relief and urgent cases, typically seeing 35–45 patients daily.
  • Work involves NHS 111 referrals, walk-ins, and stabilisation cases in a fast-paced environment, requiring quick clinical decisions without compromising care.
  • Performance is rewarded through daily UDA targets, with overachievement paid at a set rate and no penalties for underperformance.
  • Applicants must be GDC registered, possess an NHS performer number, and ideally have urgent care experience, with strong communication skills and ability to work efficiently.
