Job Description
This full-time mental health counselor position involves providing outpatient counseling, assessments, diagnosis, and treatment planning for clients with mental health issues within a tribal community.
Responsibilities include individual, family, and group therapy, coordination with community programs and agencies, and leading support groups on topics like grief and domestic violence.
Qualifications include a Master’s Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or related field, licensure, and at least 2 years of post-graduate experience in counseling.
Must demonstrate cultural competence, utilize assessment tools, and adhere to privacy laws. The role requires some travel, occasional outside hours, and the ability to operate a motor vehicle.
