Job Description

Join us as an MRCVS Veterinarian in Northern Ireland, earning £52,970 plus a company car/car allowance and relocation support.

As a Field Veterinary Officer,

  • you’ll lead disease control initiatives and ensure animal welfare standards,
  • serve as the primary liaison for farmers, veterinarians, and industry stakeholders,
  • perform administrative tasks related to animal health and compliance,
  • conduct farm visits and inspections,
  • manage disease control programmes,
  • support trade facilitation through certification,
  • and contribute to policy development on disease surveillance, antimicrobial resistance, and animal welfare.

    Essential requirements include an MRCVS qualification (or eligible), at least 1 year of experience with farmed animals or public health, strong communication skills, and a driving license.
