Job Description

The Nurse Manager oversees all functions of the nursing unit, ensuring high-quality patient care and operational efficiency.

  • Coordinates staffing, admissions, and surge plans in collaboration with leadership and house supervisors based on census and patient acuity.
  • Supports staff development through onboarding, training, and certification, fostering a professional and positive environment aligned with ICARE values.
  • Addresses issues, manages regulatory compliance, and oversees resource utilization to maintain clinical excellence and cost-effectiveness.
  • Promotes employee and physician engagement, facilitates team collaboration, and ensures service excellence.
  • Requires a minimum of 3 years clinical experience, RN licensure, associate’s degree (bachelor’s preferred), and leadership skills. Full-time, varies schedule at a hospital location.
