Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

Job Description

Seeking a licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with at least 2 years of experience in pain management to provide compassionate patient care in a clinic setting.

Responsibilities include conducting patient interviews, physical exams, reviewing imaging, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, diagnosing, and managing pain treatments, including procedures like injections. The provider will educate patients, prescribe therapies, and ensure thorough documentation.

This role requires travel between two VA locations: Suffolk and Chesapeake, VA, with a need to relocate to Suffolk before starting.

Qualifications include active VA licensure, DEA registration, EMR proficiency, and prior pain management experience preferred. Malpractice insurance is provided.
