OBGYN Hospitalist/Laborist

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Hospitalist/Laborist to provide comprehensive inpatient obstetric and gynecological care in a hospital setting.

Conduct patient assessments, develop care plans, and assist with C-sections.

Round on hospitalized, antepartum, and post-operative patients.

Cover ER call for OB/GYN and manage inpatient care for diverse medical needs.

Utilize EHR/EMR systems for documentation and communication.

Provide patient and family education, discharge planning, and coordinate treatment.

Evaluate patients in triage and admit when necessary.

Qualifications include MD/DO license in California, DEA certification, 3+ years OB/GYN experience preferred, strong clinical and communication skills, bilingual in English/Spanish preferred, and proficiency in EHR systems. Critical care experience is desirable.

Details: Part-time, contract, $172,800–$244,800/year, 24 hours/week, in-person work.
