Job Description
This full-time onsite radiologist position involves providing specialized imaging services at a VA medical facility. Candidates must be Board Certified in Radiology and hold an active, unrestricted medical license in the U.S.Specialties sought include Abdominal/GU, Breast Imaging, Cardiovascular, General Diagnostic, Interventional, Musculoskeletal, Neuroradiology, and AU Radiology. The role entails performing and interpreting diverse imaging modalities such as X-ray, ultrasound, CT, MRI, nuclear medicine, and interventional procedures, along with consulting physicians and ensuring timely communication of results.
The position requires approximately 95% clinical duties and 5% administrative/quality tasks, including participation in peer reviews and quality improvement activities. On-call coverage is required evenings, weekends, and holidays, with rapid response expectations.
Applicants must have a valid U.S. medical license, board certification in radiology, proficiency in relevant modalities, strong clinical judgment, and experience with EMR systems. They must also meet VA credentialing standards and adhere to facility policies.
