Job Description
This full-time onsite radiologist position involves providing specialized imaging services at a VA medical facility. Candidates must be Board Certified in Radiology and hold an active, unrestricted medical license in the U.S. Additionally, they should have proficiency in various radiologic modalities such as X-ray, ultrasound, CT, MRI, nuclear medicine, and interventional procedures across multiple subspecialties including abdominal, breast, cardiovascular, neuro, musculoskeletal, and general diagnostic radiology. The role includes performing and interpreting imaging studies, consulting with physicians, and managing post-procedure follow-ups, with approximately 95% clinical duties. Administrative responsibilities involve participating in quality improvement activities and peer reviews. On-call coverage is required evenings, weekends, and holidays, with response times within 15 minutes by phone and onsite within an hour if needed.
