Orthopedic Surgeon Independent 1099

Job Description

Seeking an orthopedic surgeon as a 1099 independent contractor to provide on-site care during a ~4-hour weekly or biweekly shift.

Responsibilities include managing medically complex patients, facilitating return to work, and collaborating with medical and therapy teams on non-surgical and surgical treatments for orthopedic and neuromusculoskeletal injuries. Active communication with employers and case management is essential.

Qualifications:

• Preferred experience with work-related injuries
• State licensure and unrestricted DEA license
• Board Certification or Eligibility in Orthopedic Surgery
• Graduate of an accredited MD or DO program
• Must have medical malpractice insurance
