Physiatrist Independent 1099

Job Description

Seeking a Physiatrist / Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Specialist as a 1099 independent contractor for a flexible, part-time role. The position involves treating patients on-site for approximately 4 hours weekly or biweekly, supporting the management of complex medical cases, expediting return to work, and collaborating with medical and therapy teams. Responsibilities include providing services such as EMGs and NCS for orthopedic and neuromusculoskeletal injuries, communicating with employers, and participating in case management.

Qualifications include experience with work-related injuries, licensure in the state, MD or DO degree from an accredited program, unrestricted DEA license, and board certification or eligibility in PM&R. Must have medical malpractice insurance. Compensation is based on a revenue share model. This role offers flexible scheduling and contributes to patient recovery and functional restoration.
