Primary Care Physician

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Board Certified Primary Care Physician for a correctional facility in Sacramento.

Responsibilities include:

• Providing full-scope primary care, including episodic, chronic, dermatology, preventive, and in-office procedures.
• Managing emergent cases such as trauma, fractures, chest pain, asthma, and overdoses.
• Offering ongoing treatment for chronic conditions like diabetes, hypertension, HIV, and pulmonary illnesses.

Qualifications:

• Unrestricted MD or DO license in California
• Board certification in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Emergency Medicine
• Residency completed and current CEUs
• Preferred correctional, urgent care, or ER experience

Full-time or Per Diem positions available with no-cost professional liability insurance.
$185/hour pay, with a $1,500 referral bonus for successful referrals.
Must be able to commute or relocate to Sacramento and willing to travel 25%.
